I was going through my recent news feeds and found a story out of NY that caught my eye.  The local government of Coxsakie, NY would replace aging and uninhabitable trailers with new modular homes through a lottery.

Now I thought that was a great idea until I found another reporter saying modular homes and trailers are the same thing.  Turns out the "modular homes" she writing about were actually new double wide mobile homes.  What is it going to take to awaken the public that modular and trailer don't exist in the same economic world.

And to make matters worse, not one modular builder in the area wrote a comment correcting her which keeps the misinformation pouring out.

I agree with you 100% about the local mod builders not commenting about this article. They are the first ones that yell when someone calls their homes a trailer but they do nothing to educate anybody.
