NAHB ECONOMIST CUTS 2012 NEW HOUSING START ESTIMATE

Recently the NAHB chief economist David Crowe readjusted his 2012 estimate for new home starts downward by 19% to 698,000 from the original estimated yearly start of 860,000.

Even though that is still better than what is projected for this year, it will not be quite enough to turn the economy around.  Look for that to start happening in 2013 for housing.
