It appears all the efforts to save Heritage Log Homes in Sevierville, TN, from the foreclosure auction may have finally and fully failed.  I could not find a website for them.

The property will be sold to the highest bidder on Feb. 23. It’s a disappointing end for a once-booming business that seemed to have a couple of promising suitors to keep it from under the foreclosure gavel.

Heritage’s state of the art plant at Smith Thomas Industrial Park in Sevierville once hummed with the activity of manufacturing prefabricated log homes. However, the collapse of the housing bubble slashed its business and forced it to close its doors in 2010 as orders slowed to a trickle.

At one point, owner Bill Parsons began looking around for a way to save the company from foreclosure.
Financing deals fell through and a bid to buy the property submitted by a company that said it wants to use the plant to build log homes for a South African golf course community never materialized.
