Modspace Hitting on All Cylinders with Workforce Housing

More and more mining, oil and gas operators are talking about the woes of workforce housing in Canada and the most active U.S. Shale plays: the Bakken in ND, Marcellus in PA and the Eagle Ford in Texas. But workforce housing doesn’t have to be complicated, or even expensive. A variety of housing solutions are available now, from single unit living quarters to large modular camps. Many of these buildings are constructed in a factory, then shipped to your site ready to use.

Modspace recently completed five large dormitories in Labrador City, Newfoundland that allowed Bechtel and Iron-Ore Canada to bring workers onsite. With workers in a controlled environment and well rested, the companies saw improved productivity, better worksite safety and significant savings to their bottom line.
