The Taylored Building Solutions Rumor - Part 2, 3 or maybe 7

The rumors keep on coming about Taylored Building Solutions. I thought long and hard before writing this but since I have two reliable sources, here goes.
I'm doing this for two reasons. The first is let everyone know that when there is a problem that effects our industry, I will not sweep it under the rug and secondly is make all builders and modular home factories better in dealing with each other about problems before they reach this stage.

A couple of former Taylored employees that haven't been paid asked if they could take tools and materials in lieu of pay and were told that all the tools were leased as was the building. Rent hasn't been paid for quite some time.

There is a builder that has given Taylored over $200,000 and not one thing has been started. Oops!

And in what can only be called poetic justice, one of the principle people at Taylored drives a 2000 or 2001 car that recently broke down. The cost to fix it was more than the car was worth and he had to scrap it and now walks to work.

I'm really not surprised with the demise of Taylored Building Solutions. It was only a matter of time before there pricing structure caught up with them. I found it hard to believe that they could be priced so much lower than the competitors and still profit. I guess it really was to good to be true!

Coach,
I think you have beaten this topic to death and are starting to get borderline petty.

Get back to the good stuff that you do very well: unofficial forum for our industry.

Point made and accepted. No more Taylored stuff unless they choose to close the doors. Then I'll report that. On to bigger and better things......

Wow, you sure gave up easy. No conviction on what you write?

It's not a matter of conviction. I just think it's time to stop beating a dead horse. I will report the funeral if and when it ever happens.

Now is the time to turn to more the positive things about our industry.

They are dead. Gate is locked. Check out main people on Linkedin. All have moved on. Schott still shows himself as a president of a modular company but indicates his time at Taylored ended in Oct. 2012. Dave Rzeszewski is some type construction consultant but indicates his time at Taylored ended Oct. 2012
Mike Coulter has a new job at The Lion Brewery and indicated his last time at Taylored as Oct 2012. Their web site is still up but the phone number cannot be reached.
