Why do you consistently overlook about half of the modular industry? It seems to me that your articles favor certain builders while excluding others. Looks like biased journalism to me.

which half am I overlooking? the manufactured side is not included because it is not built to the same building codes as the modular housing industry.
Is it the prefab? that's just west coast modular. Is it the commercial side? I write a ton of articles about it.
Is it that I write mainly about east coast factories and builders? That's true but it's because there are more factories in the east than anywhere else.
So who am I overlooking?

You're absolutely right!

Only problem is that just about every one of these factories have been contacted about giving this blog stories about projects, awards, special happenings, new products, etc and with the exception of about 10 of them, most fail to deliver any information even after promising it.

You would think that all factories would jump at the chance to be mentioned in the most read modular home blog but you would be wrong.

I've contacted people at Cavco, Champion, All American and dozens of others all to no avail. Most of the stories about factories either come off news feeds or from those factories that understand how important it is to be noticed like Excel, Signature, PBS, Nationwide, Epoch and Westchester.

I challenge you to find any stories anywhere about most of the names you mentioned. You won't have much luck.

Do I favor the factories that contribute information to me...yes. Would I welcome it from every factory...absolutely.

I really don't know what Anon 4:39 wants from modcoach. I've been reading his blog for several years and he has covered just about every corner of the industry. He has broken many news stories on his blog including Haven Homes closing their doors and the problems happening at Taylor Homes this year.
What more could we ask for?
