The Modular "Worker Coop" has Arrived

You've heard of the Eco-Cottage and the Granny Pod, now comes the “Worker Coop” from Victor Vetterlein, a designer of unusual things who has the simplest website I've ever visited.

In what can only be described as a self contained prison cell, the MOSS portable office is delivered to a worker’s driveway so that the company can more effectively control the ‘work from home’ employee, this has to be one of the silliest things yet for the modular industry.

Jetson Green and Dwell heap accolades on this design but honestly, if you worked from home, would you be happy working from this company supplied Lego box? It has solar panels, a stove for heat, window, a door and even an optional wind mill generator.

Which modular factory will step up and build this for Victor?

All that is missing for the employee is an orange jumpsuit with a number across the back.

This would make a great ice fishing house marketed as "The Ice House." Or maybe as a hunting blind called "The Hunt Hut."

Just think! A bad day of hunting or fishing can now last all day! Why go home and maybe miss that lunker or trophy buck when this has everything you need.
