Signature Homes Proofs Their Homes Before Shipping

A long time ago I worked at Signature Homes and remember that every house we built was "proofed" before being wrapped and shipped. I thought this was overkill until I saw the benefit of proofing.

Roof lines are matched, interior openings line up and many of the problems encountered by set crews in the field are found in the factory and fixed before the house leaves the production floor.

Today, Signature Home's Facebook page shows a complicated roof being "proofed" on the production floor. Here is what they wrote:
The rooflines on this home are crazy. Imagine buying this home yourself and having the confidence that your roof was assembled once already!
