Commodore Closing Their Danville, VA Plant

Commodore Homes of VA is closing their Danville, VA factory by the end of April. About 100 workers currently work there.

Commodore is moving production to their newer and larger factory in North Carolina. This appears to be a move at increasing production in the mid-Atlantic region. All plant personnel were notified last Friday about the closing.

Commodore Corporation is a large privately owned family business with multiple divisions and has consistently ranked as one of the largest home builders in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest United States.
