Atlantic Modular Builders Pushes the Design Envelope

If there could possibly be one positive thing Hurricane Sandy accomplished when it destroyed thousands of homes in NJ it was the emergence of modular housing as a better way to rebuild.

Not only are homes being replaced quicker with modular construction, the homes being built pushed the design and engineering departments in the modular factories to send better and complicated houses to the production line.

I’ve watched new home builders all over the East Coast benefit from the new ideas and designs Sandy has forced factories to build. Gone are the days of the old look and welcome to building just about anything the customer can design.

Atlantic Modular Builders in Manasquan, NJ is one of those builders that pushes the design envelope of their factory, Excel Homes, to help them create just the right home for their clients.

This 3,100 Sq Ft, 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home in Manasquan was recently completed but unlike most of their homes, this one was built as a spec. It is great to see builders once again putting up spec homes.

As they always say on ABC TV, “Enjoy the View”
