Capsys to Close in March or Are They?

Capsys, the commercial and residential modular home manufacturer that has been producing modules in the Brooklyn Navy Yards for 20 years will shutter its doors and the last person out the door will turn off the lights for the last time.

With no plans to reopen its operations anywhere else, you would think that Capsys might just go quietly into the night but that may not happen.

Capsys is close to signing a deal with a Pennsylvania company to keep the name and all its intellectual properties. If things go as planned, we have not seen the last of the Capsys name that has meant quality modular production for decades.

I wish them luck in keeping their name alive and continuing to put it on modules delivered throughout the Northeast.

Rumor has it that Capsys, may start building product out of the shuttered Deluxe Homes factory in Berwick. It would make sense since it is already set up to build steel and concrete modular structures.
Has anyone else heard this rumor?
