Modular Home Builders - Only 2 More Seats Available - Reserve Today!

Last November Tom Hardiman, the Executive Director of the MHBA and yours truly, Modcoach, brainstormed about how to get the residential modular housing industry back to at least the 5% share of new home starts it enjoyed prior to the 2008 Housing recession.

Our idea was to get East Coast modular factory owners and top management to sit down and talk about ways to accomplish this goal. On December 3rd, we hosted the first ever Factory Round Table held exclusively for them with the goal of finding out what they thought should happen. 13 factories were represented; an unheard of number.

It was way beyond anything either of us had hoped for. They decided that they wanted to begin working of promoting and marketing modular housing, not for themselves but for you, the modular home builder. They formed committees and are waiting for the Builder Round Table on January 28th to add builders and begin the actual planning a marketing strategy for modular home builders.

Now it's your turn to step up to the plate and begin working with the factory people to hit the ball as far as you can together.

“We are on the verge of a movement in the modular industry that is groundbreaking and very exciting. Something that is long overdue and gladly welcomed by all.  Instead of builders and manufacturers working as independent units in what has seemed secrecy around the country we are ALL coming together coherently for the greater good of the industry.  The MHBA is a great organization and the core nucleus of this movement and I am thrilled and honored to be a part of it.  Looking forward to our meeting on January 28th, 2016 and discussing with all of my fellow colleagues an industry plan, we will all be part of, for the ultimate success of the modular industry and bringing everyone that is part of it together into 2016 and beyond.”

-  Anthony Zarrilli, Zarrilli Homes

“The manufacturers that supply our modular homes took the time to meet for many hours about how to improve our situation. Now it’s our turn. It’s time for us Builders to match their intent, step up, and figure out what we want, why we want it, and when. Get to the Breakfast!”

- Harris Woodward, Finish Werks

There are only a few seats left, so take a few minutes, read over the details, pull out your credit card, make your reservation and then show up. It is the least you can do for your industry.

“We must all hang together or we will all hang separately.” -Ben Franklin

That statement is more true today for the residential modular industry than every before. I believe builders from more than just the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic need to make an effort to attend this Round Table. This is the first time an opportunity has presented itself for builders to meaningfully partner with factories for the mutual success of the modular housing industry. Gary, you have created an opportunity and the MHBA is exploiting the chance to finally bring the players together that are really passionate about this business and want to make a difference. I'll be there and hope to see many other builders from around the country make the effort!

As ALWAYS Gar,y you and Tom Hardiman and the MHBA are doing a fantastic job creating and keeping the momentum going throughout the industry. It is great to see industry leaders like Ken S, Harris W, etc. ALL working together in building a better tomorrow, today, for the modular industry. Any one who does not attend this conference is going to be greatly disappointed. Now is the time for change and progress and the 2016 modular round table conference is where it is going to begin. Look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks!

I look at it this way:

Even if you think you're too busy, or can simply ride the coat tails of someone else' labor, you are missing the chance to be around the best in the business for a half-day. This is why successful American business people network! To learn from other successful business owners.

Do you already know everything? Are you too busy to help yourself?

Trust me: you're not going to win Powerball this week. Click the link and register for your own self interest. And I'm not talking about the big breakfast buffet!

Gary, I am very much looking forward to hearing the builders perspective on how we can grow this industry after hearing for the manufacturers. I think the time is right and we are seeing some positive momentum and willingness to work together. I expect a positive and productive meeting.
