“A relationship, I think, is like a shark, you know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies. And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark.”
From movie script Annie Hall by Woody Allen
I think you can say the same of websites. If you substitute the word website for relationship I think this quote even makes more sense. So what is your relationship with your website? Is your website a “dead shark” or is your site alive and well, constantly moving forward, growing and capturing prey? Websites are living breathing entities that if you do not nurture and feed them they will forever be stunted and under perform.
So what is the best way to feed your website? In a recent blog I wrote about content marketing in the blog entitled “Content is King”. People gravitate towards meaningful content and the fastest and best way for you to energize your website with content is through an active blog. Nothing is more dissatisfying than to go to a website and see that the last blog posting is three years old. Putting new content on your site acts to attract and convince customers that your service or good is the solution their problems. To find out the benefits of blogs you might also want to reference the posting ”Why you need a blog”.
Above it was mentioned that people gravitate towards meaningful content. You can say the same about search engines, they also love blogs. A blog enables your website to be indexed separately on search listings and creates lots of opportunities. Blogs are a terrific way to be recognized as a thought leader in your industry category, influence people and to get new traffic to your website.
With that being said I am well aware that not everyone has the time and ability to plan, compose and write their own blogs. That is why I have come up with a solution that catered specifically to the needs of the modular homebuilder. It is a subscription service entitled modularhomeblogs.com. The purpose of the service is to provide builder with consumer driven, geographic exclusive, ready-made blog content delivered on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
The service will begin after 25 builders have filled out the notification form. As being one of the first 25 Builders you will receive a 10% discount on your subscription after official sign up. To sign up to be notified please go to www.modularhomeblogs.com. If you have questions also feel free contact me at email@example.com or 540-488-2978.
