Massachusetts Modular Home Builder Elevates Custom to New Heights

Modular home factories help design and then build homes for their builders and deliver homes that are about 80-85% complete upon delivery.

However when that home is a 4,400 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 4 bath custom home like the one designed and built for a discriminating homeowner, the builder has to add so much work and detail after delivery that the home is perhaps in the “70% completed from the factory” range.

That attention to detail and craftsmanship needed to complete this type of custom home is what Dreamline Homes in Lexington, MA does every week. They have found that having the standard things like wiring, plumbing and other things that every house needs completed at the factory gives them the perfect canvass to create their one of a kind, custom homes.

This home in Wellesley, MA features hardwood floors throughout, a real wood burning stone fireplace, a gorgeous spiral staircase and lots of other unique interior features.

The exterior is sided in Hardie plank and features a copper roof on the front along with a Bluestone front walkway.

And did I mention that this home has a HERS rating of 44?

Congrats to Kris Megna and his staff on yet another fantastic custom modular home.

Great project Kris. You got my envy with a HERS 44... your clients will have the utility bills of a 2,000SF home! Is there a manufacturer we can compliment as well?

Thank you both very much! I greatly appreciate it. Harris it was Excel, but I also use that with a grain of salt on this one for all the reasons I am sure you know. I think Gary was nice in his article saying this came 70% complete :).
