Grow Your Business With the Building Systems Councils Webcast Series

NAHB’s Building Systems Councils, representing manufactures, builders and suppliers of modular, panelized, log, timber frame and concrete homes, is excited to announce its monthly Lunch-N-Learn Webcast Series topics for the remainder of the year.

Launched in February, the series has covered a number of areas related to the building systems community, including “Building High Performance with Modular” and “Log Homes from a Builder’s Perspective.”

Among the highlights: Highly rated NAHB International Builders’ Show speaker Brian Flook presents “The Builder Sales Machine: Focus on Leads to Capture & Convert More Sales.” Also, from across the pond, the BSC will present “Innovation in Swedish Factory Built Housing” led by executives from Lindbäcks, owners of a soon-to-be operational fully automated modular housing factory.

2017 BSC Lunch-N-Learn Webcast Schedule

June 22 | The Builder Sales Machine: Focus on Leads to Capture & Convert More Sales

Presented by Brian Flook, Power Marketing

Brian Flook will deliver a strategic blueprint that will help you move leads from Google search to the closing table. Using Flook’s blueprint, you’ll learn when a lead is ready to close because your Builder Sales Machine has moved them through the sales funnel.

July 27 | Redwood Timber Applications for Log Homes

Presented by Charles Jourdain, Mendocino Forest Products/ Humboldt Redwood

Redwood Timbers offer a strong, durable option for building projects in post and beam construction, entryways, decorative elements, and outdoor living structures such as pergolas and gazebos. The webcast will provide comparisons between Redwood and other timber options.

Aug. 10 | Builders and Designers, the Money is Over Here

Presented by Valerie Jurik-Henry, CAPS/Aging in Place Specialist

As America’s baby boomers eclipse retirement, the demand for aging in place housing — already a trillion-dollar industry — will continue to grow. Learn from a 30-year veteran of the housing and healthcare industry about the “Aging of America” — where 90% of people want to live at home and how builders can grow their business by meeting consumer demand.

Sept. 21 | Your Sales on Steroids

Presented by Scott Stroud, Cash Flow Engineering

If you don’t have a S.Y.S.T.E.M (Something You Stick To Emphatically and Methodically) for moving sales through your funnel, you are losing sales, commissions and revenue. You may have selling systems and processes already in place. Learn how adding established automated processes and best practices could double or even triple their effectiveness.

Nov. 16 | Organizing for Success: 5 Steps to Implement Standard Operating Procedures

Presented by David Lupberger, Remodel Force

Lupberger takes business owners through a systematic five-step process to implement “standard operating procedures” within their companies. This is a required step for any owner who wants to effectively delegate day-to-day responsibility.

Dec. 21 | Innovation in Swedish Factory Built Housing

Presented by members of Lindbäcks’ Executive Team

One of Sweden’s largest producers of modular homes, Lindbäcks is set to debut the world’s first totally automated modular housing plant in December: The only human labor on hand will be for routine equipment maintenance. Join this conversation with Lindbäcks executives about their new facility and modular construction in Europe.
